A native of Southern California, Kevin’s journey through the jazz world reads like a list of legends, having recorded with the likes of Paul Anka and Bill Holman, and sharing the stage with icons from Michael Bublé to Bob Brookmeyer. The man’s drumming is as tight as it is explosive, backing giants like John Pizzarelli, Benny Green, and Monty Alexander, and still finding time to weave his rhythmic magic with underground hip hop DJs at L.A.’s infamous Groove Pocket sessions.
When he’s not laying down grooves with the Gerald Clayton Trio or The Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, Kevin leads his own unforgettable jazz jam session—bringing together a revolving door of some of the best talent Los Angeles has to offer.
