Trey Hill comes out of the foothills of North Carolina—the kind of place where you learn to keep your head down, work hard, and let your hands do the talking. He hit the road at 18 and landed in Nashville, where “making it” usually means being good enough to survive other people’s pressure. Trey did more than survive. Over the years, he toured and recorded with a wild spread of names—Big & Rich, Jessica Simpson, Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts—proof that he can live inside different worlds and still sound like himself.

That road led to the kinds of stages most musicians only see on a screen: The Tonight Show (Jimmy Fallon and Jay Leno), Letterman, Ellen, Good Morning America, The Today Show, CBS Early Show, ESPN’s College Game Day, and the Grand Ole Opry. Not because he chased the spotlight—because he earned the call.

In 2020, Trey walked away from the “side guy” lane and bet on his own songs, planting the flag in Southern California. In five short years he’s stacked 50,000 streams, landed multiple songs on SiriusXM, and picked up a 2025 San Diego Music Awards nomination for Pop Album of the Year. In January 2026, he released a new 3-song EP, “It’s Just Life,” and he’s kept the momentum moving—fronting his own shows with his band while also playing guitar for Gary LeVox (Rascal Flatts) and Generation Radio on select dates.

Live, Trey blends crowd-favorite covers with originals that actually say something—hooky, honest, and built to land in a room. A little bit country… a little bit rock n’ roll… and a whole lot of “this guy’s the real deal.”
